Dr. Alexander Kwong-Tak Yu, MD

I was treated in Cleveland clinic and I transferred to Dr Yu and I can tell you this. My first impression was he is an honest doctor. He does not lie to you. He tells you upfront what is going on and he answers every question you may have. He cares about his patients and your not just a number or a statistic like I felt in Cleveland. I trust him more than I trust the other doctors I have seen. I am looking forward to my next visit because I know I will be treated with respect and honesty. IF you cant trust your doctor with a brain tumor... whom can you trust?

my grandma had a brain surgery by dr yu and he was very difficult to work with. the only person that met the dr was my father and he said this man seemed very confident in his ability to do the surgery without messing up (he did mess up). after the surgery he knew it didn’t go well but he lied to my family and said she could get better and proceeded to send her to a rehab facility where she HATED it. that is where they then told us that she in fact wasn’t getting any better and that she had to go to a nursing home to live the last months of her life.

I seen Dr Yu last week, He order some tests to find where the pain is coming from in my back. He also showed me how the fusion in my spine would be to relieve the nerves in my spine that are pinched. I have complete confidence in his judgement to do what is best for my health.

He saved my life. He is the best!!!

Dr. Yu said 6 months to a year you wouldn't know I had a brain tumor removed. I didn't believe than but I do now. It will be a year this month and I suffer no ill effects except I lost my sense of smell. Thank you, Dr. Yu for saving my eye sight and making my life worth living.

Skilled, compassionate, kind. Not rushed. Spent time with patient, followed up with patient, even on a holiday.

Dr Yu showed alot of care and concern, he made us feel at ease with the decision, I would definitely recommend him.
