Dr. Alexander Zemtsov, MD

Dr. Zemtsov was very caring and made me feel comfortable.

Very good doctor

It has been about 12 years or so since I saw Dr. Zemtsov. I am writing this review now because what he did to me plagues me every day. I had a mole on one of my breasts above my nipple which he removed, claiming that I "would have died" if he left it. (It was benign). I was crying as they scooped it out because it was very deep and would be a big scar, and he told me, "Don't worry, you will still be sexy." They did a running stitch, which is completely the wrong kind of stitch to do on anything that has any weight to it like the top of a breast. When they went to take the stitches out at the next appointment, it gapped wide open and had to be restitched correctly. Once it finally healed, I had a 2 inch scar and my breasts are now 2-3 sizes apart with one nipple 3-4 inches higher than the other. So besides the unprofessionalism and inappropriateness of him telling me I would still be sexy, I have now been unable to find bras that fit correctly It will live the rest of my life crooked.

I have gone to Dr. Zemtsov for various procedures for a number of years. He and his staff are professional and caring. I have always been provided with written after care instructions when appropriate. I would not go to any other dermatologist.

I went to see Dr. Zemtsov about my complexion and found out many different treatments to help resolve or reverse the issue. More importantly I found out the cause and was able to learn about taking care of my skin. He also gave me a full skin exam and found some moles that were not normal, I would have never known to have them looked at if he had not been so detailed in his exam. University Dermatology Center also has a medical spa so I was able to treat not only my medical concerns but also my cosmetic at the same time!!!

This Dr. & his staff have horrible bedside manner. The are not nice people. I felt extremely rushed. I felt like he did not listen to anything I said. He seemed to just blow me off. Also the front staff was very unhelpful. Of the 3 at the counter 2 refused to help me because they were playing on their cell phones. Also no one had a smile at all. No greeting or welcome. They were just plain rude. I never go to the Dr. but this is a scary and legit situation I am in so I went (just to have him blow me off). This is the reason I don't go to Drs. He also kept accusing me of traumatizing the area I was concerned about. After I told him 3 times I had not.

Dr. Zemtsov and his staff are awesome!

I rarely go to the doctor. Dr. Zemtsov was very caring and made me feel comfortable. Would go again.

Horrible bedside manner, did not feel like he cares about him patients. In a big hurry.
