My clinical interests include juvenile diabetes, thyroid disease, growth disorders such as short stature, disorders of puberty, obesity, and PCOS. I went into medicine to take care of children.I always strive to give children the best care including providing comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and management of complex hormonal problems. Hormonal disorders at times can be complex and challenging, not only to me as a provider but for the family as well.It is a great privilege for me as a physician to be a part of this journey with them. I want to be able to help them and learn from their experiences as well. My goal is to develop lasting connections with our patients and their families. My special interest is in juvenile diabetes. I always believe that it is important to empower and educate the patients and the families to be active participants in their care. I am also particularly interested in the use of technology to improve diabetes care and control.

Dr Aguilar is the most wonderful pediatric endocrinologist In Clark County! Dr Aguilar Is the 3rd endocrinologist that my son has had and she listened to our concerns, validated our feelings, and continues to treat my son with care and dignity! I drive 45 mins for my son to see her for in-office visits. Dr Aguilar's bedside manner is refreshing and overall, her quality as a medical professional meets the high standards!

Dr. Aguilar is really good and she really takes time to answer out questions but my next appointment was never schedule. After waiting 3 months and having done a blood work done for my son I am supposed to wait 3 more months And have another blood work because someone didn’t do it’s job. We are talking about a child’s health here.
