Dr. Alfred Trecartin Ogden, MD

Looking for the right surgeon for your back was harder than it looks. I went to see several doctors for my spine injury and I'm so glad that I chose Dr. Ogden. He is highly skilled and specialized in minimally invasive spine surgery. I cannot thank him enough for saving me from eternal pain.

I came to Dr. Ogden with severe disc herniation. He was kind, compassionate and is an expert at what he does. Due to the severity of my situation, he fought to accelerate my surgery date. He was every bit as conscientious during follow up and I have spoken with him several times since my surgery. I hope I am never in need of his services, but if I am, I would go back in a heart beat. If only more doctors were like Dr. Ogden, the medical field would be what it was intended to be - a service to help people with kindness, knowledge and compassion.

Immediately changed an incorrect diagonsis from another Neurologist by identifying on an MRI the real cause of my pain level 10 sciatica. After confirming his thought with an additional MRI he arranged for surgery to be performed asap. He showed quick and accurate decision making while being warm and caring. The surgery went well and I'm on the way to a recovery. I am so gratefull for his skills, temperament and planning. I always felt that he was listening to me. He answered my concerns and questions with patience and clarity. During a painfull crisis he took command and helped me restore my health. He gets my highest recommendation.

Dr. Ogden was rude, arrogant, and seemingly hurried and harried. I would not want him operating on my dog, much less my back. I don't care where he went to school. He has the warmth of an icicle.
