Dr. Alfred Mark Sassler, DO

When I saw Dr Sassler, he was nice and patient with me, as was his staff. I had allergy testing with under skin testing on my arm and was told I had horrible allergies to about 12 different things and spent several years taking allergy drops daily. Allergy symptoms (itchy eyes, congestion) weren’t getting better so I saw my 4yr old son’s allergist who is very good - patient and intelligent. He did a huge allergy test on my back and found I have NO ALLERGIES! He had never heard of the type of allergy test Sassler gave me and said the results had no standards so he wasn’t sure what Sassler was comparing the results to in order to justify the severity of the allergies he said I had. The drops were $100 a bottle approx. every 6wks and not covered by insurance. I feel the whole thing was a scam. My mom also saw him during this time and was also given false information.

I had a visit w Dr. Sassler in 2014. I saw him again today six years later. He remembered everything about me including personal interests we talked about before. He correctly diagnosed me both visits for different problems. He was polite and professional but real and down to earth. He also was taking time to teach a resident which I really respect. I highly recommend Dr. Sassler.

If you want a happy good experience do not go to this doctor. He says one thing when you’re in the office with him that is usually rude and condescending and then when he’s walking out the door he acts all nice so everyone else can hear him. He is rude, uncaring, and only concern for himself.

He did septum surgery for me and is VERY EGO minded. He is condescending, talks over you and is difficult to feel comfortable around. I would recommend any surgeon except him.

My teenage daughter went there today to be seen for the first time & Dr. Alfred M. Sassler had a horrible attitude. He made a rude comment about my daughters eye lashes and talked down to her. His tone was very rude & then he had the nerve to tell her to stop talking when she attempted to tell him important information about her health. I called the office several times after the appointment & no one answered the phone so that I could file a complaint. He was rude to one of his staff members as well. I will never send my child there again or recommend this doctor to anyone. He made a horrible first impression with his rude attitude & tone toward my teenage child. His behavior today was completely unacceptable.

He is rude and condescending. I will not go back to him.

I have seeing Dr. Sassler for awhile -5/6 times. I got a bad taste in my mouth right when I met him. At first, I thought it was a one off thing. I thought the first few appointments, he was just busy and flustered but come to find out, that's just how he operates. He is extremely rude, constantly cutting me off when answering his questions. He makes you feel as if you are stupid or that your symptoms are made up. I am not normally one to write a review, but I wish I would've known this information before going to him.
