Dr. Alfreda Hampton, MD

This provider was one of the worst providers I've ever worked with. She does not have any sense of urgency. She's condescending and disrespectful. Her pretentious nature is repulsive and I hope you never have to rely upon her to treat you. She will gaslight and mistreat you intentionally to boost her own ego. Ultimately, her bedside manner needs work. I cannot speak to her clinical skills as they're often dismissed due to her tone and inability to provide care or support to patients experiencing medical emergencies.

She did not treat my daughter well. She talked to her very disrespectful.

I met Dr. Hampton when I was in need of a D&C. Her bedside manner and kindness is unmatched. She performed my procedure efficiently. She is wonderful and I recommend her a thousand times over.

Absolutely horrific experience. This doctor was the doctor on call when I went in to deliver my baby and did not have an OB. She treated me like a number, not a human. After I delivered my daughter she was checking me and I asked her to walk me through what she was doing as she was just putting her hands inside of me. She got upset or frustrated, threw her gown on the ground and walked out of the room. We asked her for her name she refused. She did not check me. Thank God I didn’t have postpartum hemorrhage. Also, when I asked if we could delay the cord clamping as my baby was in perfect health she would not stop harassing me to cut the cord as there is “no benefit”. She even went as far as almost cutting it without my consent my husband had to move her hand. She was holding scissors over my body arguing with us and made the whole experience so bad. I had to ask her to please give me 10 minutes to enjoy a moment with my baby who was just born as she was harassing me. she argued with my… partner the whole time i was in labor because of us asking questions. She is a TERRIBLE doctor especially if you have educated yourself on birth and want to go a more natural route. I seriously would never recommend her to anyone. Because of her i have severe trauma from my birth. If you want a more natural birth or someone who respects your wishes , RUN.

She is an AMAZING doctor!

If it weren't for Dr. Hampton I probably would never have kids. She makes you feel at ease with any situation you have going on. Dr. Hampton is a one of a kind doctor. She goes above and beyond to get her patients the care they need. My whole family loves her as well. She is the obgyn you want to have at your side.

The worst Dr I have ever been to. She never put my swab from my pap back in the tube! She carried it around then I saw it on a paper cup, in the open air! She judged me and argued with everything I said. When she called for my test results she answered her cell phone, never said excuse me or sorry. I will never see her again!

She is sooo friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. she delivered my first and i will surely go back for my next.

Worst OBGYN, has a very pretentious attitude.

I am very fortunate to have a doctor as caring and professional as doctor Hampton. She has always been very helpful and accurate in her findings. She's honest, thorough, practical, and gives explanations for her reason. She was there every step of the way before,during, and after the birth of my son. She help make the experience of being a first time mother awesome. I've been a patient of hers now for over 12years. Dr. Hampton has the characteristics every woman should look for in their physician.
