Dr. Alfredo Canlas Domingo, MD

I had a fall at work and was recommend through workmen’s Comp to visit Domingo. I had fall on my knee on pavement at work and could bend my knee afterwards. I had a ton of tests ran but couldn’t figure out why i wasn’t really able to bend my knee. On a visit to Domingo he wanted to try to put local anesthetic into my knee to see if he could movie it. (Now I suffer from vitiligo which is an autoimmune disease where my body attacks my pigment.) He laid me back on the table and proceeded to insert the injection, he dug the needle in so deep and yanked it all around saying he didn’t want to spread my vitiligo because it’s a fungus.... vitiligo isn’t a fungus at all. I was in absolute tears from the pain at what he was doing. I don’t expect all doctors to know all diseases, but I do expect if the doctor doesn’t know maybe ask your patient about it and not assume something. After multiple appointments with him his behavior and demeanor was because very toxic , so much so I refuses to attend… my appointments alone. Surgery was finally set because he believed I tore my meniscus. Surgery rolls around and is done . I wake up to find out I not only tore my meniscus but shattered some of my knee cap. This whole time he was telling me that my pain was psychological and wasn’t real! I never got an apology from him about it. When it came time to have a check up later that week he was mad that I was still using crutches after only 5 days of surgery. Mind you I still had stitches and it was in the middle of the winter and to top it off I have walked on that leg for almost 2 whole months. I was never given physical therapy at all and was expected to walk on it few days after surgery. In one check up I only had one crutch to help me and he told me to stop using it, the person that came with me said it was dumb for me to stop cause of all the ice outside. I could fall and rip my stitches open. Domingo shut down on us and told the nurse in front of us to tell us when to come again, he acted so childish. Because of him my knee is in worse shape now. He’s such a horrible person and I can’t believe he’s allowed to work on people. Please don’t go to him please do search for someone else, for the sake of you body.
