Dr. Alfredo Tumarao Ermac, MD

I had never had the flu so I didn’t know how bad it feels when you do get it. When I first started feeling sick, I went to see a nurse practitioner somewhere else who dismissed it as only a cold. Two days later, I was still running a scorching fever and luckily, Dr. Ermac was able to see me that same day. He was able to diagnose me right away with the flu and bronchitis but still to be sure, ran some tests. I left beyond relieved knowing that finally I had found a doctor close-by who was as direct and spot on with diagnosis as Dr. Ermac and didn’t beat around the bush like some other doctors do. He explained everything to me with complete details which made me feel very satisified with my visit. I’ve experimented with many other physicians but I’m now done searching - Dr. Ermac is the man. Staff was polite and answered all of my questions thoroughly as well.

Poor service and rude staff. Went with wife and two young children. Waited in separate rooms for over half hour and nurse was rude when I wanted to see my wife who was looking after our one year old baby and 4 year old. Doctor (Dr. Ermac) told me that I can leave if I wasn't happy waiting. Was told we needed to make appointment second time we came back to give urine sample as we were told to just come anytime. Unprofessional doctor and nurses. Did not even bother to go through our blood work results in detail. Just told us to part way with them which we were more than happy to do so. Worse experience with the medical industry.

HSE deserves 5 stars & then some!!! :D I love this place! The NP's there are wonderful BUT I'm always SUPER excited when I get to see Dr. Ermac. He is the best hands down! (& I'm a harsh critique!) Dr. Ermac is very personable & extremely intellegent. I always feel like I'm his only patient on the books when I come in. He takes extra time to answer all questions/concerns & even make a little side talk. (Which always puts me at ease, no matter my ailment!) the offices are always so clean & orderly. The staff is friendly w/smiles galore. My 2 year old was difficult today & was behaving pretty badly... One of the MA's came to the rescue w/a butterfinger which kept her at peace for the rest of my appointment. It's the little things that scream LOUDLY w/their customer service skills! I refer all my family & friends here bc I feel blessed to have the best MD in town! <3

I took my son to see Dr. Ermac this weekend. He came in and seemed very nice and somewhat a fast talker (I thought it was just his personality). After 2 or 3 minutes he said he was done with us (which shocked me bc he just barely entered the room). When I stopped to ask him a question he told me he had a lot of other patients to see. He didn't even care about my son's need and making sure he was ok and that all of our questions and concerns were addressed. He made me feel unimporatant and even question his original diagnosis since he was in such a hurry. This is my first time with this doctor and will also be the last. I will be switching.

I think Dr. Ermac is a good doctor. What I do not like or agree with is how they address their bloodwork labs w/ their patience, or lack thereof. They have two lab companies (on site) they contract out that alternate days. The problem: neither Dr. Ermac or his staff tell you this upfront and, therefore, you might be stuck with lab work that wasn't ucovered under your insurance. That is what happened to me. Had I known they use two differnt lab companies, I would've chosen the one I know is covered. Well, I wasn't given that chance and now I'm stuck with a bill that Dr. Ermac and his staff could care less about. I called to complain about their lack of communication and professionalism. All they could say is that there is nothing they could do. Wow!! That's speaks volumes to me! SO YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!! Prior to this event, I could only say postive things about Dr. Ermac. But after all the time and fraustration I've put in fighting this bill, he is not worth it. He has left a bitter… taste in my mouth!
