Dr. Alfredo F Mendoza, MD

Dr. Mendoza had been my doctor from birth to age 13 (I switched to a female doctor when I hit puberty), and he is now my 6mo olds doctor. I trust him to give my son exceptional care as he did when I was a child. No question or concern is stupid or silly. He takes the time to explain his answers. He makes sure that I understand his diagnosis and how he came to it. He even asks how my parents and siblings are doing and keeps up on what is happening in my life and my sons. You really can't find a nicer more caring doctor than him!

He treated me so poorly I will NEVER go back. We had taken our daughter to another facility to urgent care and she was diagnosed with an ear infection. After several days she was not better and Dr. Mendoza was the doctor on call so we got in to see him. Right away he grilled us about taking her to another facility and read us the riot act about how the person who diagnosed her was not a doctor and only a nurse practitioner. He asked us if once we were told about the ear infection if we looked in her ears and what we saw. Puss, readness, swelling? Of coures we didnt look because what parent questions a health official? Worst experience ever with a doctor. I call ahead now and find out who is on call and if it is him I go to urgent care.
