I wish my experience had been like the previous reviews. As a former cancer patient and having seen multiple doctors, I have never had such a bad experience with a doctor. I went with my daughter to see him. He was ANYTHING but compassionate. He made us feel like we were wasting his time. He asked multiple times why we were there, despite the fact that we told him more than once that 2 different doctors recommended my daughter see a hematologist. That is why we were there! I have never felt such un compassion or diss interest from a physician I would NEVER recommend him. I have had the utmost compassion and care by everyone who has cared for me with my own cancer. I feel sorry for the people who have him for their doctor/cancer experience

His compassion and expertise are amazing. I thank the heavens above that he is in our valley to take care of me and my fellow "fighters". He truly is in a class by Himself.

My daughter works at Logan Regional and had told me that she had never heard of anyone who had been treated by Dr. ben Jacob who didn't like him. His intelligence, compassion and caring were so far beyond what I had expected, I was totally amazed. I have never met a doctor quite like him. I told him once that it was almost worth getting cancer so that I could get to know him and what a wonderful person he was!

My father received a diagnosis of terminal renal cancer and was referred to Dr. Ben-Jacobs. He saw us immediately without an appointment and spent an hour with us to determine what course of treatment my father wanted to pursue. Dr. Ben-Jacobs was very caring, carefully explained the options and expected results in a frank but sensitive manner. He has stepped in to help us with medical issues unrelated to the Chemotherapy. I've met a lot of doctors, but rarely one his equal.

I have been successfully diagnosed and treated for multiple myeloma, a bone-marrow cancer. Dr. Ben-Jacob's knowledge and concern have been outstanding, not only for myself, but also for every other patient of his with whom I've had contact. I only wish he had an equally dedicated colleague to help treat all the cancer patients in our area; there are too many of us for one person to deal with. We all want him to be healthy, too!
