Dr. Brian Peter Tudor, MD

I was referred to Dr Tudor for my initial diagnosis of CLL several years ago. My wife and I were immediately put off by his indifferent and non caring manner. We asked about my prognosis and he said he couldn’t say and to come back in 6 months. After that experience, we asked some friends about their experiences with Dr Tudor and they emphatically said to go to someone else. I did. I called the Huntsman Cancer Institute and got right in. I was treated by an oncologist who specialized in blood cancers. We immediately felt that I was in good hands for my treatment. I completed 6 months of chemotherapy and have been in remission for several years. I am so glad that I never went back to Dr Tudor. I strongly recommend that anyone diagnosed with cancer go to the Huntsman Institute. My wife usually gets along with just about everyone but I am so glad she didn’t have a good feeling about Dr Tudor and that she insisted that I go to the Huntsman Institute.

He put no effort into my care. He came into visits uninformed. Any questions were addressed only by his ego. I don't think he'd miss a manicure, break a sweat, or spend 10 minutes to save my life.

Dr. Tudor is one of the kindest Dr.s I have ever been to. He knows his stuff and treats you accordingly. No nonsense about more unnecessary follow up appointments, like so many St. George Dr.s do. He I not into bleeding the insurance Companies. I would refer him to anyone with perfect confidence.

I should have known the first time that we went to Dr. Tudor that he wasn't the right doctor for us, but he was fairly personable and I thought things would get better. Never did. He was friendly enough albeit impressed by his own personality but it was obvious that he never did his homework. He would look at the results of tests and such on the computer as he was talking rather than reviewing the information before hand.. On more than one occasion I had to point out things to him that I had found out, these were things he should have known. I found him unprepared and dismissive on things pertaining to nutrition etc. It is too late now and perhaps the outcome would not have been different but I wish we had found another oncologist.

When I mention Dr. Tudor, the first thing that comes to mind, is his sense of humor. He spent quality time with me as well. He's a very intelligent man, and I felt I was in good hands. I just hope I don't have to recommend him to anyone I love.

Dr. Tudor was extremely knowledgable. He spent alot of time explaining all my options. I was very nervous and he helped put me at ease.

Dr Tudor treated me as a statistic and didn't discuss all the possible options with me. If you want a guy who is sarcastic and thinks he should be the one independently making decisions for your care... then he is your guy.
