Dr. Alice Chu, MD

Dr. Chu is a true healer. She is extremely thorough and experienced. She has found the correct diagnosis and treatment when no other doctor could. Unlike many others she looks at health and wellness for the long term.

Very disappointed that a doctor caring for elderly patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis and various other conditions is now no longer accepting Medicare. It's a shame that they turn their back on patients when they no longer want to accept what insurance wants to pay them. Karma...

I have finally found the courage to leave this "doctor" after many, many years. Her staff, as others have said, is rude and inconsiderate. She prescribed and prescribes medicines that have made me sick and tells me I am taking them wrong. I cannot even begin to share the hurt and heartache she has caused me. I finally found another doctor, further away, who will take my insurance. I called their office and I got a cheery hello and they said welcome...can't even get Chu's office to answer their phones. I used to cry every time I had to go there....finally said enough. Please, consider carefully if you choose to go to this doctor. Your health is so very important!

DR CHEU DON'T LISTEN ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM, SHE WROTE ALMOST 20 DIFFERENT MEDICATIONS TO TREAT MY ARTHRITIS AND UNFORTUNATELY I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT ANY OF THEM ARE FOR, WHEN SHE EXPLAINED WHAT THERE FOR SHE WAS IN A HURRY AND SHE DIDN'T TAKE HER TIME. WE HAD TO STOP HER AND TELL HER THAT I HAVE A NEW ISSUE BECAUSE SHE SEEMED TO BE IN A RUSH. SHE DOES NOT LIKE IT WHEN SOME ONE ASKS QUESTIONS SHE GETS AGREVATED, I WORKED IN THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM AND NEVER MET A DOCTOR THIS IMPATIENT. I AM STILL IN LOTS OF PAIN AND WILL BE ASKING FOR MY RECORDS SO I CAN GO SOME WHERE ELSE.

I love Dr. Chu. Very knowledgeable and a nice staff. She tells me the truth and always gives me great suggestions. Thanks to her, I am feeling much better!

I used to love Dr. Chu, but since she diagnosed me with Lupus over two years ago I haven't seen her. They schedule me to see her physician's assistant. The level of care in this office has gone down dramatically. The staff is rude and incompetent. The PA is very nice, but not helpful with my illness at all. I feel like I'm just going every 3 months so they can collect their money. Looking for a new rheumatologist. Very unhappy with they way this place has become.

Alice Chu is a wonderful doctor. Sheâ??s truly compassionate, caring and very supportive. She understands her patients and works to help ease their pain and suffering. Because she is sympathetic to all aspects of her patientsâ?? needs and care, she is willing to work with her patients on all issues even financesl. Alice Chu is a rare gem. A remarkable doctor. I highly recommend her services.

I have been going to Dr.Chu for 2 years and have finally left her business to find another professional doctor. She's the type of doctor thats wants to tell you what to do, instead of listening to what your needs are. She was trying to make me take a very strong medicine, that I didn't have the any problems for. I took this medicine before at her recommendation, and had terrible side effects that I told her about. But she continually ignored how I said the medicine made me feel, which was awful. And she continued to try and prescribe me the horrible medicine. I will not ever in no lifetime; recommend Dr. ALICE Chu to anyone! It's doctors like this that look more to the kickbacks they get from prescribing these harmful medicines to patients that do not need them. Stay away. They also send your bloodwork to out of network doctors, who later come to you to collect money, that you knew nothing about. Shes an in network doctor, bUT sends blood work out of network to screw you out of extra… money.

I have lupus (SLE). Dr. Chu has treated me for five years. She is an excellent doc. not only does she care about my illness, she worries about me. I feel blessed to have a found such a thorough and brilliant doctor to help me manage this devastating illness.

Terrible human being. Misdiagnose myself and others on regular basis. How's she a dr?
