Dr. Laura Berenice Geraldino Pardilla, MD

I saw Dr Geraldino Pardilla for the first time today and had a very pleasant experience. She spent a lot of time with me discussing several treatment options for my psoriatic arthritis. Her demeanor was very caring and she took the time to answer all of my questions. I felt that she was very knowledgeable and competent. I left with a treatment plan and an appointment in three months for follow-up. Based on this first interaction I can recommend her.

The doctor seems that does not like her profession. Doctor seems dont not want to be bother. We looked to relief the pain but she does not prescribed anything neither referred us to another doctor.

I had a 15 min video conference that I was charged $400 out of pocket, expensive but not the main issue. She ultimately recommended the most expensive, and invasive treatment, and steered me away from any holistic or natural based treatments which in her defense is the standard recommendation. At the end of the call I was sent a referral to get a CT scan to monitor the progression of the disease. I contacted her office to relay my concerns about moving forward with such an invasive procedure and that I would be looking for a second opinion. I then spent months trying to schedule the CT scan she referred only to find out that her office was actively refusing to forward the referral letter to the insurance company delaying additional review and treatment. I didn't know that it was retaliatory, but after several imaging centers and months of delays having the same issue I got the message loud and clear.

Had a consultation with this doctor who was rude, arrogant, and extremely unprofessional. I took the time to get all of my records to get a proper consultation, but she had no interest in even looking at any paperwork. She spent my 8 mins with her explaining how there was nothing wrong with me. I complained to the supervisor but this hospital only cares about billing your insurance and nothing about being a true care giver. Her energy was so toxic, I just cut it and her off in 8 minutes. She was clueless as to why I was leaving. Some people are better at research and others excel at healing. Dr. Laura Pardilla should stick to research and spare all of us her toxic touch.
