Dr. Prager is Professor of Clinical Medicine, Director of Clinical Ethics and Chairman of the Medical Ethics Committee at Columbia University Medical Center. He spent two years in the Indian health Service practicing general medicine on the Cheyenne River Sioux Indian Reservation in South Dakota after his medical internship. Dr. Prager held clandestine medical clinics in the Soviet Union during a visit to Refuseniks in 1986, and later set up the first U.S. - Soviet medical student exchange program between Columbia P&S and the First Moscow Medical Academy. Dr. Prager has been a pulmonologist for over 35 years. He is heavily involved in teaching pulmonology and medical ethics to medical students, house officers and nurses. His writings on medicine and medical ethics have appeared in medical journals and textbooks as well as on the Op-Ed pages of The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Dr. Prager is a regular guest lecturer in Israel for the Ben Gurion University MD Program in …International Health and Medicine in collaboration with Columbia University Health Sciences. He has received honors for his teaching, clinical expertise, contributions to organ donation, and medical humanism.

Working in the health care profession for over 40 yrs, I have never meet a more caring and compassionate physician. Dr Prager read my Ct Scan prior to meeting me. I was a total nervous reck. He entered the waiting area called my name, introduced himself while shaking my hand and said “ I don’t want you to worry you don’t have cancer. He lead me to his office exam me and we had an extensive consultation. He will continue monitoring me, and I am so grateful to be under his care. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Kenneth M Prager is the best doctor I could ever encounter. I have been seeing him for the past forty one years. He is compassion, caring and the most intelligent person that I have met. Always takes the time to answer any questions I may have. After being misdiagnosed for almost two years by numerous doctors. Literally, he saved my life. I was a young woman of 30 years, he was 34 years young. I’m 71 years old now and doing fine!! Thank god for Dr. Kenneth M Prager.. The best,,

I SAW DR. PRAGER AS A NEW PATIENT IN 2017, I WAS SEEING DRS. IN NJ. AFTER MEETING AND SITTING WITH HIM I KNOW I WILL NO LONGER BE SEEING A PULMONOLOGIST UNLESS IT IS DR. PRAGER. I HAVE NEVER SEE A DOCTOR WHO WAS MORE GENUINE THEN HE, I DEFINATELY FELT AS THOUGH I WAS FINALLY IN THE RIGHT OFFICE.

I've been a patient of Dr. Prager's for 17 years and have found him to be thorough, caring and available whenever a medical question or crisis emerges. Dr. Prager has dealt with my complex medical condition very competently and I always leave his office feeling better (both physically and mentally) than when I arrived.

DR. Prager diagnoised my Hepaopulmanary syndrome disease and saved my live.This was after 2 yrs and 5 or 6 NJ Speaccialists with no results.
