After practicing dentistry in Manhattan for many years, she pursued her interest in studying the link between oral health and systemic health. Dr. Deutsch recently received a Master's degree in Public Health from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She has written papers and presented research on oral health during pregnancy and access to dental care for pregnant women. Dr. Deutsch is an avid sculptor and photographer.
