Dr. Alice Ann Epperson, MD

Dr. Epperson spent all of 2 minutes with us when I took my daughter in. She then sent her MA in to give us our prescriptions...no one ever told us what the meds were, how long we should use them, etc. I would never, ever recommend this doctor.

Dr. Epperson and her staff at Urgent Care in Bulverde were just wonderful. The office was not busy at the time I walked in. The check in process did not take long at all. Dr. Epperson and her nurses spent time with me to help figure out my problem and make me feel better. I would recommend this clinic and I will be going back because I had a great experience.

I went to Dr. Epperson for a few years when she was wiht Health Texas. At the time I thought she was a good doctor. After she left to pursue another practice, antoher doctor replaced her and after reviewing my file, I was told I had high cholesterol and according to my history, I had had it for a while. Dr. Epperson never told me this, even though I had test run that confirmed it. The tests were just filed in my medical record. I was told, however,that I had a vitamin B-12 deficency. I was asked to come in and get injections for this "deficency". I found out that I did not have any vitamin deficency. I still do not know why she had not only me, but many patients coming in for those shots. They didn't harm me, but it was a big inconvenience. What could have greatly harmed me was not knowing I had high cholestrol for which I now take medication.
