Dr. Alice Joseph, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Joseph for eight or nine years until recently when I retired and moved. I always found her to be knowledgeable, friendly, thorough and professional. I hope I can find a new doctor half as good as she was.

The doctor lacks care and rarely follows up on blood results. She has a poor bedside manner and not very informative when you do have questions regarding your health.

Dr. Joseph has been my primary care physician for several years. She manages my multiple medical problems well. She works with me as an individual and makes me feel that we are partners helping me maintain good health. Her bedside manner is warm and caring. I have largely been able to avoid using Emergency Rooms and Urgent Care because she is usually available to see me on short notice when needed. Overall I highly recommend Dr. Joseph to anyone who wants a quality physician. Especially if they want one who will take the time them personally instead of being passed impersonally from one physician to another a large group practice.

I can't believe she still practices medicine. she is the worst doctor that I ever went to. she is absolutely terrible in her bedside manner, rude to her patients and staff. she refused to write me a referral and I was wasting her time by coming to her office and told me to find another doctor. she belittles everyone around her including her staff. she thinks she is above the law and treats patients with absolute hatred. she does not even addressed me by my name called me " hey lady, you Americans are fat and dumb. This is why you guys get high blood pressure and diabetes. you guys need to get your behind off the couch and get to work". so please do me a favor, save yourself and don't go to her.

Doc Joseph is always late even if you are her first patient of the day at 9am, she only shows up at 10am with her Starbucks coffee and does not even apologies ! Her stuff changes constantly and theyalways have to lie to cover up for her delays. she rushes through the appointment, ask very few questions, her equipment is from the 50s! She hates writing REFERRALS!! The last time I saw i came to pick up a referral that she took for ever to make and she yelled at me for a half hour saying it was my fault that she had to pay people to write referrals and now the insurances wants "electronic" referrals and it's because of patient like me!!! Her stuff was soo embarrassed by her attitude. She finally scream "go find yourself another doctor!". I responded that both my husband and I will be delighted to do so. She is the ABSOLUTE WORST!

She is a very caring, honest and accurate doctor in her diagnosis and her care.She has your best interest at heart.She has been my doctor for over twenty years.

I would like to begin by saying that I rarely take the time to fill out these surveys, but my experience with Dr. Joseph was so poor that I was compelled to make an exception. I am a healthcare professional who visited this doctor today to market my company's services. I was polite, courteous and was not interrupting business hours, as the waiting room was completely empty (I now know why).After speaking with the receptionist, she informed me that the Dr. was not in. I asked if I could leave some literature for her and as I was explaining what it was, Dr. Joseph, who had in fact been sitting RIGHT THERE turned around and snapped at me, "I am NOT interested in what you have. I am NEVER interested. I WILL NEVER use it!!" I was dumbfounded. Not only was I taken back by the fact that she had been sitting there all along, I simply couldn't understand why this stranger was suddenly shouting at me. Had I said something wrong? Had I insulted her firstborn? It may seem silly, but I literally… almost left in tears.Now, some doctors have the ability to leave you feeling good, offer a polite smile, or at very least take your literature, even if to throw out later. Dr. Alice Joseph is not one of them. My grandfather, father, uncles and brother are all physicians, and I look up to them more and more each day because of the old-school bedside manners they still maintain. Dr. Joseph is the exact reason I believe Manners 101 and Humble Pie should be added to the medical school curriculum. She made it quite clear that she was not interested in anything I had to say, but Dr. Joseph, if you ever read this feedback, please know that you never know when you might need someone for something. In the meantime, please do not treat them like garbage because you have an MD after your name.

Her demeanor is rude and dismissive, and I would never trust her professional judgment. I had found a (large) growth in my breast and underarm. I visited this physician because I needed an HMO "gatekeeper" referral to a specialist. She told me that I had nothing but a fold in my breast tissue (huh?) and shouldn't worry about it. Wrong. I had a 3 cm tumor that required surgery.

This is the worst doctor on the planet. She has no interest in her patients or their well being. She is terrible at diagnosing diseases. She can't get you out of the office soon enough. After going to Dr. Joseph for several years and not getting any help with my problem I went to another doctor and was diagnosed with a serious condition within minutes. Stay away from this woman at all costs!!
