Dr. Alice Diane Mccracken, MD

I had my yearly with Dr. McCracken. The wait was almost non existent and the staff were great. I have been using this practice for many years and have always had a great experience. I love that Dr. McCracken listens, explains, and has such a knowledgeable warm personality. No one likes to go to the doctors, but she always keeps me relaxed. Thank you so much for just being you.

Staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr. McCracken has been my doctor for past 23 years. She is always kind, takes time with the visit, never rushed, thorough with concerns.

Yes, All About Women is a busy office, like many doctors offices, but the wait time for my 2 visits to see Dr. McCracken were not at all unreasonable. Dr. McCracken, was kind, thorough, informative, all things that I want in a doctor. I had to have surgery with her, and she was great through the entire process. I would highly recommend her.

The group the Dr. McCracken is a member of is too busy for their own good. They have no time to talk through your questions and are almost impossible to get a hold of. You always talk with an answering machine, and could end up waiting into the next day for a call back. The office staff is extremely rude, and seems to present an attitude of, well we don't really need your business because we have plenty of other customers. Dr. McCracken is a very pleasant, knowledgeable doctor- but it is not worth dealing with the group.

Dr. McCracken is hard to get in touch with. Waiting room time is long and you can almost never reach a "real person" if you are over the phone with the office. It takes a while for them to Call you back. Once you are lucky enough to see Dr. McCracken, she did not spend much time with you. it seems she is in a hurry to go to next patient. My last appointment was driving me crazy. They changed the location and the time. They told me the location was changed, but did not tell me they also changed the appointment day/time. During their reminder call which was couple of days earlier than the actual appoint, they just told you that you had an appointment on xxx day at xxx time, but they did not specifiy the time/day had been changed. Luckily my calendar was right in front of me and I called the time change. So I called back and left a message and someone called me back confirming the time had been changed. I was not happy. It was not easy to reschedule on my side and if I want to reschedule… with Dr. McCracken, the earliest appointment was three months later!!! When I finally got to see Dr. McCracken and mentioned the change, she simply said yes I had something coming up that day and had to change it!!! I am so angry!!!!!But she has a reason to be so hard - she is a good doctor when it comes to diagnosis and surgery. That is the only reason I stay with her.

Dr. McCracken delivered my first baby last March, and I do not feel she listened to my wishes or concerns, nor did she communicate well. Her concern was her own agenda and schedule.
