Dr. Alice Kim Tsoi, PhD

Such a nightmare. Please stay away if you're seeking real healing or support. My experience with this therapist was deeply upsetting and damaging. She showed no empathy or genuine concern for my well-being and constantly pressured me to book more sessions—not for my benefit, but clearly to maximize billing through insurance. Her approach was cold, judgmental, and completely lacking in respect. Rather than creating a safe and supportive space, she made me feel blamed and misunderstood, which only intensified my distress. She is not someone who should be working with people who are vulnerable or dealing with trauma. This was not therapy—it was exploitation. If you’re looking for compassion, professionalism, and healing, look elsewhere. She will do more harm than good.

This provider is very cynical, unempathetic, uncaring, self-serving and profit-oriented. Working with her has left me traumatized, mistrustful and confused as I was often ignored and disrespected. I have since been in therapy with an absolutely wonderful therapist and am so proud of my progress. My heart goes out to everyone seeking help especially during these tough times and I wanted to let you know that there are so many caring, empathetic and competent therapists out there who are in this field for the right - to help others, not profit from someone’s suffering. I advise against this provider as everyone deserves to be heard, respected and treated with dignity.

Unprofessional. Love money and charging you with fees than care about her client. Not a good doctor in town. Avoid her if you care. Not recommended. Nightmare to deal with.

More interested in charging for her time when services not rendered, rather than finding ways to accommodate family/child. My child does not have a phone. Requested provider call parent to speak with child, as this provider does NOT offer any video services such as Zoom, FaceTime, or SKPE. She called at time of appt, left a VM, did not attempt to call back nor try the other number on file (my own), to reach us. Expects us to pay for her hour long service which was not rendered. I might have let that go if she apologized and offered to try both numbers in the future. However, her response to this request was REFUSAL to accommodate. She flat out Refused to accommodate in the future by trying both numbers if no answer on first cell. NOT a provider that us interested in problem solving with family. Just wants easy pay, without having to work for it. I do NOT recommend this provider for anyone that wants quality service.

My wife and I have experienced difficulties at times, like many couples. Dr. Tsoi has been a great help to ensuring my wife and I understand each other better. The insights gained have helped us make better decisions. Realizing that choices are not always "me against you," and seeing other dimensions to the situation are empowering and healing.
