Aliceson Stroub, APRN

A certified nurse practitioner, Aliceson Stroub specializes in sleep medicine, with a focus on sleep apnea. Having practiced since 2012, she sees patients ages 18 and older. Her approach to care centers on listening to the patient: "I let them give me the story," she said. Stroub was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by her passion and drive to improve the health of others. She strives to be kind, respectful and compassionate when providing patient care. Earlier in her career, she worked as an intensive care unit and emergency department nurse. Initially, she moved into the neurology and sleep fields for day shift hours, but said she grew to love practicing sleep medicine. "The change in a person's life by improving their sleep felt good," she said. "My favorite part of my job is building relationships." Stroub is a graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Nursing and received a master's degree in nursing from Frontier Nursing University.
