Dr. Alicia A. Hillman, MD

RUN don't walk. Hiring an attorney-has left the area but she will also hear from the State of Kansas Insurance Commissioner's office..an OUTRAGE.

I've been seeing Dr. Hillman for years. She is patient, listens, compassionate, and digs deep to make sure whatever it is that is bothering you is addressed. I have had nothing but the best experience with her as my Orthopedic doctor. Having been through two knee surgeries, and a back surgery, I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Very thorough in diagnosing why and how pain was present and then how to treat the pain. Allows patient to make decision while presenting all the options and possibilities. One of the best doctors I’ve seen.

I have had two outpatient procedures and everything has been perfect. Dr. Hillman is on time, totally professional, cares for her patients, and a neat person to get to know.

Made 2 separate appointments and she cancelled both. The 2nd time was 10 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. She stated it was just and inconvenience and that I was unlucky. When she called the front desk staff they stated to each other "she is not going to do this to us again, is she?

The worst Doctor I have ever seen. Doesn't listen, rude, rushes through the apt. Lost her temper for no reason. Unprofessional. I was stunned at this level of physician proficiency and skill.

I believe that Dr Hillman performs her practice as a hobby. I'm not sure why she would send me to get an MRI, then leave for vacation for two weeks without letting me know she was leaving or handing me off to another physician, but apparently she thinks that it perfectly acceptable.

I have seen Dr. Hillman many times and each time she gets my injection just right. I love her nurse, Nancy, as well as the entire staff. Very professional and always pleasant. Thanks, Dr. Hillman!!

Such a waste of time and money. I waited for over an hour to see her for less than 10 minutes. She told me i had scoliosis and probably an irritated disc. I already knew this...she said i could get an mri. I had asked the first dr at leawood family care to order me one and the said no i needed to see dr. hillman. Such a waste of money and time.

I was referred to Dr. Hillman by my primary care physician under the guise that her speciality was physical therapy and pain management. My primary care doctor had already done all the x-rays and weakness tests and said I should see Dr. Hillman. Dr. Hillman provided no value in the appointment. She, like my primary care doctor, said the x-rays looked fine (already knew that) and did the same weakness tests. Then she said she recommends physical therapy which is what I thought should might start me off with given the title on the door says phyiscal therapy. I did not need to pay another doctor to send me to a PT when my primary could have done that. When I tried to add value to the appointment (i.e., make it worth the money I was paying since I learned nothing new up to that point) by asking her for some good knee stretches because I get a pain when I run, she said she can't help without an x-ray. I don't want an x-ray (in fact I had one prior and all looked well with the bones).… I just wanted a stretch recommendation. She literally said she can't help and walked out.
