When asked if I minded if the shadowing student attended my exam, I had no idea that they themselves would also do the exam. I said yes thinking she would only observe. I think it should be made clear what she is going to do. My breast exam done by this student was painful. It was like she was popping bubble wrap. And for a student to perform an internal exam without the patient being informed beforehand is wrong. I was not comfortable with the situation at all. This is not a good thing for y’all to do. I’m not sure I will be back.

Dr. Walsh asked questions and let me explain without being rushed. She genuinely cares about the health of her patients. I had an excellent appointment because I feel like she really listened.
