Dr. Risch is the best doctor my family has ever had. I went in with symptoms of itching and nausea. She promptly sent me to the hospital for a abdominal scan. And she was right I had a tumor on my ampulla of vader. It was blocking the valve to the liver.If not for her quickness in diagnosing this I probably would not be here today. Luckily it was in early first stage cancer. This type of cancer is rarely found this early. My surgeon even stated that she had saved my life!!!!!You are the greatest Dr. Risch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm uninsured too but I've never had a bad experience with Dr Risch -I dont think that has anything to do with time she spends with you! (and her staff had mentioned that she rarely takes time for lunch so have hard time believing other person's comment) I absolutely loved going to her and was sad when me and my husband had to move out of state. She always took time to explain things and would even respond to my emails well after office hours or on her day off. I always felt like she really cared about me

I'm uninsured at the time and twice in six months when I needed to see her she was quick to tell me to get to the point, she needed to go home for lunch. She must not have realized she used that line on me just a few months earlier. The staff was GREAT but as for her care of me, no thanks.
