Dr. Alinda Patrice Gary, MD

Doesn't help a patient to understand their problem or give advice.

She is there for the money only. She sits there "listening" but won't actually hear you. She doesn't give advice, she repeats what you've already stated. She will tell you she's there for you and to contact her when you need help, but that's all a front. She will turn on you and make empty threats about you and damage your future care. It's sick and disturbing. I have also been misdiagnosed by Dr. Gary and she has boxed me into a rather insulting category. I'm saying this in the hope that others will not be affected the way i have been by this woman. She's is hardly professional. A real professional would be satisfied by a patient's improvements/progress, but sadly that's not this situation with this provider. Enter at your own risk and end up staying for your own demise.

Definitely very nice in the talking part and not interested in drugging patients. But will try to fit you in the bipolar box whether it fits you or not (I'm autistic with brain damage), and when I called her office after I wasn't a paying customer to make sure they wouldn't share info with an abusive hospital that was farming around a fake data release, she dodged my calls like any other scared Yuppie hiding from the "crazy man" when she's the last person on Earth who should have done that. Just saying.

Dr Gary is a consummate professional who believes in and loves her work. I have been a patient for over two years, and I continue learning about factors that have shaped me. She is very intelligent and easy to talk to. I am grateful to have found her

Dr. Gary believes in therapy and not just masking your issues with drugs. She got to the root of my problem and I was able to get through a difficult time in my life without medication. Good to know that there are still doctors out there that don't push pills.

Dr. Gary is a smart, warm and highly competent doctor. I recommend her highly--she's been a tremendous help to me.

This is the first time that I had ever seen a psychiatrist and Dr. Gary was very gracious. After seeing her my life has turned around. I cannot thank her enough and I would highly recommend her to anyone.By the way, I do not understand the last comment. That person must have the wrong Dr. Gary. This Dr. Gary has no office staff.

Dr. Gary has a nice presence to her, but that is just about it. She was not interested in really getting to know her patient, and was more interested in her hair and surroundings then treating me. At the end, she misdiagnois me, which cause a lot of issues. STAY AWAY! On the other hand, the staff was nice. Treat at your own risk.
