Alison Jones, PA-C

Alison Jones, PA-C, specializes in orthopedic spine medicine at Hillcrest Hospital South. Alison’s inspiration to pursue a career in medicine came from her desire to help people and make a positive impact on their health and quality of life. She chose to specialize in orthopedic spine medicine because she said it allows her to combine hands-on procedural work with clinical problem-solving. She adds, “I enjoy correlating a patient’s symptoms with imaging findings to accurately identify the source of pain and develop an individualized treatment plan.” Alison understands the journey it takes to get back to feeling normal. That is why she enjoys meeting each of her patients and building relationships with them by taking the time to understand their goals, connecting through shared interests and creating a treatment plan they can both work toward together. When it comes to advice, she said, “I often remind patients that daily movement - at a level that feels realistic and sustainable for …them - is one of the most important ways to stay active and healthy.” Outside of work, Alison enjoys running, cooking new recipes, taking her dogs on walks, going to the lake and spending time with her husband.
