Dr. Alison Knauth Meadows, MD

Dr. Alison Knauth Meadows is a cardiologist with expertise in the care of adults with congenital heart disease. She has a particular interest in the care of young adults with complex congenital heart disease and has developed a transition program to guide their transfer from a pediatric to adult-centered model of care. Also, Meadows has expertise in the performance and interpretation of cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in adults and children with congenital and acquired heart disease. In addition to caring for patients, Meadows is an assistant professor of clinical radiology and pediatrics at UCSF. Meadows received a doctorate in engineering and a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, completed a residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the Children's Hospital Boston. She went on further to completed senior fellowships in cardiac MRI and adult congenital heart disease at Children's …Hospital Boston. |
