Dr. Alison E. Vukich

From my very first appointment, I was impressed by Dr. Vukich's exceptional bedside manner. she has a unique ability to make patients feel at ease, which is crucial in a healthcare setting. I had an appointment recently and when she walked is she gave me a downwards sidways look of disappointment. Throughout this visit I didn’t feel she cared about me just asked a question did a lot of typing and I left with more questions than answers. It seems she has lost her interest in making patients feel better. I was annoyed and complained to the lady at check out. Within the week I received a letter stating due to my conversation with staff I will no longer be seen as a patient there any future appointments have been cancelled and I once I find a new primary care doctor they will send my records. After informing the office that I will have to look for another Provider Dr. Vukich turned around and released me as a ‘non-complient’ patient. Now because of this Primary Care Physician on the Baptist Network will not accept me as a new patient. I just can’t afford unnecessary tests/lab work that my insurance doesn’t cover, an office visit for every little thing like a prescription refills and $80 to administer an immunization that I can get for free at the pharmacy next door.

I went there as a new patient and she was very close minded and judgemental. Seems like it is her way or no way

Dr. Hitz has been my physician for years and I have complete confidence in her. She listens to me and is always very comprehensive.

The nurse practitioner (Wynette Revell) is the sweetest person you will ever meet, but the doctor (Alison Hitz) is a different story, entirely. The office manager seems nice but the referral coordinator (Allie) is rude. There are many PCPs to choose from. If you can avoid it, don't see the doctor her. If you absolutely have to go to this office, see the nurse practitioner. You won't regret it.

Dr Hitz is rude and thinks she knows it all. She wants to order several tests for nothing and insists you see her every single month for follow up. I do not have any serious or life threatening ailments, so I don't see the reason for following up so often. She is not a specialist! She is either too young and inexperienced or she just isn't a quality doctor. After my few experiences with her, I choose the latter. I am finding a new doctor and will never see her again.

This doctor needs to take lessons in bedside manners. Too often, she comes across as abrasive and she is quick to dismiss medical problems. She needs to be more compassionate or she will lose patients.

My overall experience has been great seeing the Nurse practitioner. However, I will be switching Doctors because I was treated very poorly by the Doctor because of having multiple medical problems. I was referred to others specialists because of the lack of knowledge by this Doctor. It makes me wonder if my skin color had something to do with it...If you must go, see the nurse practitioner.
