Dr. Alison Marie Wilson, MD

She is the best Surgeon and Dr. I have or could ever want. She explains things to you good and always wants to know if you have any questions and really cares about her patients. She has helped me so much through so many diffcult times and through so many times I was in a lot of pain. She has also done so many surgery on me and it helped a lot. Some people stated she has no bedside manners well I don't know what they were thinking of or who they were thinking of but she she was very , very Awesome to me. I hope I never loose her as a Dr. Cause I don't know what I would do. Ruby Memorial Hospital stopped taking Pa. State Ins. and I am trying to pay for private Ins. and it is very hard for me to do I am disabled and I need to stay their with and I am trying so hard. I wish they would consider taking it again it would be such a dream come true. Their are so many people I know plus tons of family I have even my own kids and all my grandkids and husband want to go back there. But she is the… best and that's all I have to say. Thank You.

Who ever you are that was in a serious car accident I feel very sorry for you but to say DR. WILSON has no bedside manners is very on called for because i see her all the time and I had to stay in the hospital over night before and her bedside manners were very, very nice and carring. Matter of fact she has come in clinic for me very often to take of me so I don't believe she acted liked you said she did. Matter of fact she is doing surgery on me the 25th and I have all the faith in the world in her. I am a sever diabetic and she made me get my AIC down before she would do the surgery now that's a doctor who really cares about their patient. I am not being smart but I don't think you would know a good doctor if you had one well you didn't because you had one and didn't know it. RIGHT BOSS.

After the doctors took a look at me in the ER it was determined that I would need surgery. The ER staff was very helpful amd assured me that I had a wonderful surgeon and I was in great hands. Before the surgery, Dr. Wilson came in and talk with me and my family about what the problem was and what we needed to do, and she answered all of our questions completely before she left the room. After surgery she again told us what she did, and what we needed to do next for complete recovery. We always felt like we were in good hands, and are happy with the overall experience. (except having to have the surgery in the first place) I recomend her to anyone who needs an operation.

Dr. Wilson was my surgeon after a serious car accident. She had no bed side manner, and she was very rude to our family. She acted like I was a burden because she had to come in during the night to operate on me. She talked badly about other physician's who were also taking care of me, and was rude to the nurses and medical students/residents. How can a trauma surgeon be so uncompassionate?! Hopefully if I have another accident, they will take me to Pittsburgh instead!!
