Dr. Rajai Tawfiq Khoury, MD

Having Dr. Khoury as our surgeon has been a blessing! I was referred to him by my cardiologist Dr. Fren years ago, and I was scared knowing I had 4 heart blockages and needed a bypass operation. Dr. Khoury was recommended by my doctor and by our neighbor who was his patient before. At our appointment my wife and I knew we were in good hands. For one thing, he got us in right away even though his office looked busy. He has been a known surgeon in our area for as long as I can remember so we knew he was experienced - but then we realized he is KIND and very respectful. He took time to answer our questions explained the options and the procedure and the risks. I remember feeling confident leaving his office and then going into the surgery. After all that, the operation went great. When our nurse called Dr. Khoury with our questions, he answered fast - that was a relief. Recovery was hard from the heart operation but we knew what to expect - mostly the pain was in the leg from… where they used the vessel to save my heart. Now I feel like a new person. Dr. Khoury was humble about it, but I think he gave me a second chance at life and to be with my family . I'm writing this years later when I'm on the computer because recently my wife had leg veins that got big and painful - what do you know, Dr. Khoury met with us - she got an ultrasound and showed us the problem area - he fixed the veins on that leg and she is getting better little by little. He explained her some options and tried the compression socks first which ended up helping after the procedure too. He is with WVU now but it's mostly the same as it was. We loved the PA at his office, Melissa - she was professional and sweet. We're glad to have them taking care of us in WV and the Ohio valley! THANK YOU DR. KHOURY!!!

Dr. Rajai is one of the best Doctors I have ever met! And believe me at age 70 I have met quite a few. I have seen Dr. Rajai and his staff several times in the last year and I have always been treated like a patient and friend. He has solved or working on solving all my problems that he specializes in. I am so thankful that my family Doctor sent me too him!!

Dr. was supposed to do vein surgery on my leg but had PA do it. Sent me into lobby with leg gushing blood. There is damage to the nerve and the circulation is still poor.. Wigs I had NEVER seen this guy.

Dr. Khoury was so caring and compassionate, and after my surgery I feel better than I did when I was 20 years old. He is an angel and a miracle worker!
