Dr. Alita K Loveless, MD

I waited for over 3 months for my annual exam appointment-I am not a new patient. I arrived at the office 30 minutes before my appointment only to be told that their were too many annual exams scheduled for the day. The snippy receptionist told me she had called and told me to get an appointment with the nurse practitioner. Then next year Loveless would see me. The “lovely” receptionist told me she had called and left me a message that my appointment was cancelled. Receptionist confirmed the number she called and left the message- only problem is that there is NO answering machine on the phone number she said she called. No need to say anything more. BTW-I never even got an I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

The staff did not provide appropriate customer service. I felt rushed and like an inconvenience. I told the doctor and nurses I felt I had a yeast infection or UTI and had had it for about a month. Dr. Loveless swabbed the area, but I did not get results. I was told to go to Urgent Care because my UTI worsened and the office was closed (at about 3 p.m. on a Friday). I went to a Covenant-related urgent care who said the swab was never logged by the OBGYN office. Turns out I had both a UTI and a kidney infection. You REALLY hope your OBGYN is conscious enough to catch these things (especially when I brought them up), so I felt frustrated and honestly neglected. I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone who needs serious help, although they seem to know how to handle pap smears (as long as it’s logged in the system). The doctor was nice and all, but I worry other patients may fall between the cracks as well.

Dr. Loveless addressed every concern I had. She made me feel comfortable. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable with the procedure.

I don't like the nurse of dr. Loveless. She is kind a ditzy. She is not very helpful. I was bleeding heavily the nurse told me it is just sheddin ...
