I was amazed. I have not see the extent of a knowledgable doctor like this in decades. She didn't assume what was wrong and she didn't just do trial and error on symptoms. Along with her knowledge, her thoroughness was remarkable. She looked into my records and reviewed every aspect of my medical conditions to determine any other external connections to what she was seeing me for. The appointment was not rushed as she made everything needed was checked and then gave a thorough explanation. Her personal desire for me to have a better, healthy life was evident and encouraging. I could not recommend her more. What a gem in a pile of rocks.

I am very pleased with my DBS surgery, performed by Dr. Bank and Dr. Aliya, who showed integrity, professionalism, and outstanding programming skills. I am grateful for this life-changing experience and thank God for it, along with the Michael DeBakery Houston Veterans Affairs Parkinson's clinical. Absolutely love Dr. Sarwar! Wait times are short and never feel rushed out. She listens and takes her time to make sure I understand everything. She even followed up after labs instead of just having a nurse or other clinic staff reach out. It is great to have a doctor go that extra step to show they care.

First the check in was very professional and direct. The appointment started on time and the nurses were very nice and professional. This my first appointment with Dr. SARWAR...was very detailed and informative. She explained a lot to me about my medications and her concerns and her plans for my improvement. Overall my experience with her was A++.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Sarwar since about 2017 and she has been phenomenal with caring for him. She’s kind, patient, and compassionate. We never feel rushed when we are with her. She takes her time with us and listens to all of our concerns, and makes sure all of our questions have been answered before we leave the office. She is a wonderful doctor, and we truly appreciate the care she provides to my husband.

DR. Sarwar has been treating my Cervical Dystonia for years now and i am very lucky to have her as my VA Doctor . she is well educated and i trust her when she is making decisions with the medication to take and with Botox injections in my neck area . she is very knowledgeable when helping me with the questions i have for example taking the right vitamins to take while on a medication. I appreciate her and the VA for what they do for me . Thank you.

I learned from my 1st visit with her that she is very well educated . she takes great pride in I have been receiving treatment for my Cervical Dystonia at the VA Debakey by Dr. Sarwar for about 10 years now.. i learned from first visit that she was well educated and very easy to communicate with. which put me more at ease and helped me with my tremors and neck pulling . i only have had 1 other Dr. in my 63 years of life that i have trusted in.
