Dr. Alla Fine

Truly the worst doctor that I have ever made contact with. She finds out little about your history and diagnoses you before she even does a proper evaluation. She is extremely rude, disrespectful and extremely cold towards individuals who are facing mental health issues during COVID. She has zero respect for your own journey as a patient and has flat out said patients are crazy if they ask too questions or have concerns. It's truly her way or the highway. Horrible and will be filing a formal complaint. Not all doctors are like this and she should have respect for patients who are suffering.

Initially Dr. Fine seemed - well fine - but over the course of seeing her for a year her office became overly crowded - I don't mind waiting a few minutes but every appointment the wait was at least 1/2 an hour - and Dr. Fine's attitude changed dramatically. A typical office visit was 5 - 10 minutes - she is just "churning and burning" patients and it is showing in her attitude and professionalism. The last straw was when she blatantly lied to me and made me feel as if it was my responsibility to handle my prescription refills even though she refuses to give long term scripts (so you are forced to see her if you want your meds). How stressed does a DR. have to be to lie to a patient about their meds? I actually feel sorry for Ms. Fine - I refer to her as Ms. because I don't believe Ms. Fine is a Dr. any longer.

The first time I ever met Dr. Fine she baker acted me and threatened to call the police for an escort to the hospital. She considered me “a danger to work with” despite barely skimming my history. She is abrupt, rude, and lacks compassion for her patients. She very obviously does not update or review her notes. She has tried to prescribe a medicine that I am allergic to multiple times. She also only prescribes 30 days of your medication, so if you won’t be seen in that time, you won’t have any refills. Good luck trying to get a hold of her to even try and ask for one. I strongly recommend finding ANY OTHER psychiatrist. Your needs most likely will not be met here.

Highly effective and professional

I have been going to Dr. Fine for several years now, I was diagnosed by a prior psychiatrist and had a working set of medications but my old psychiatrist moved so I went to Dr. Fine as she took my insurance. All she has ever done is manage my medication, she adjusted it twice but only minorly, but the issue is with getting appointments with her. She only schedules appointments about one week a month and if that doesn't work for you, you are out of luck. Yesterday she called and cancelled my appointment for next month - no reason given and said I could reschedule for a certain date earlier in the same week. But I will be out of town earlier that week which is why I scheduled the original appointment for the date/time it was set for and her office staff agreed to. She then said I could either come in yesterday or today. I said that was not possible as I had work, she said get out of work and she would write me a note. Not possible as I have scheduled client meetings that can't be… rescheduled on such short notice. She was super rude when I said that and asked well won't you be out of medicine? I said yes, by shortly after the original appointment date. She responded that I would just have to figure out what to do about that. What I am doing is switching doctors. Other than writing scripts, she wasn't doing much for me. All my prior psychiatrists were much easier to work with for scheduling and were never rude.

This doctor didn’t read my former notes, close her door for confidentiality, got angry within 5 minutes of what my last doctor had, got loud and I had a panic attack . She also called me a name and I have a MSW, and in front of other clients in The hallways - all due to the mention my former doctor of 15 years treatment for my anxiety disorder included Xanax? She had all his notes. They only take cash and very unprofessional and unethical. I even had suicidal thoughts written which she didn’t even read my notes or his and let me leave office immediately. She said anyone who takes Xanax is a addict. As a former counselor, I would never ever recommend her!

Witness bullied patient crying...stating all I wanted was help...all she did was yell at me...shouted at me to stop crying...what kind of mental health doctor does this...I felt so bad for the person...glad I was not next.

If I could give zero stars I would! This doctor was extremely rude, I had requested a call back so she could forward my visit notes to my insurance company and she called me to yell at me, she says and I quote "you wasted my time" I paid $75 to see this doctor so if you ask me she waisted my time and money. i literally begged the doctor to please send whatever notes she did have and all she did was interrogate me and argue. When I tried to explain the questions she had she talked over me and said that it was her time to talk. Very condescending woman. Would never recommended her!

Apparently the scheduled appointment time is just a suggestion. Here I sit in the waiting room for over a half hour after my scheduled appointment with no indication of when I'll actually be seen. Her staff is rude on the phone as well as condescending.
