Dr. Allah Bakhsh Haafiz

Very knowledgable in his area of expertise but also quite Condescending. He quizzed me like a child and wanted me to explain what the diagnosis was, then he repeatedly said NO and continued questioning rather than explaining. When he did give me the worse case scenario for my child, he berated me for becoming teary eyed and repeatedly stated that I wasn't listening to him since that upset me (he stated that I shouldn't be upset because the more likely scenario is that it would all turn out ok). I understood there was only a 20% chance my daughter would have to have a liver transplant but that is still a possibility and I could not help becoming teary eyed. During the appointment he ignored the questions I had on several occasions and proceeded to talk over me when I did get a chance to talk. I had to ask the dietitian and the nurses the questions I had because I was unable to share them with doctor Haaffiz.

I met him about more than a decade ago. a nice person indeed
