Dr. Allan Berne Barza, MD

I have the County Health plan (CCHP) and as such, they only have 2 Psychiatric offices to send you to. Well, they both are sub-standard. So I went online and did some research to find a Psychiatrist with an excellent educational background, close to where I live, long-term and great experience, moderately priced fees, someone who would take the time to listen to my situation, and would be willing to prescribe the appropriate medication, if needed. Well, I hit gold when I found Dr. Barza. He is everything I was looking for and more!! He's so very kind-hearted and considerate and working with him was not stressful in the least. I wish all of my doctors were as good as he is. On our first meeting, he spent over an hour getting to know me and guiding me to the appropriate methods to help deal with my anxiety issues. By the end of our session, we had laid out a strategy to handle my anxiety and panic attacks. He gave me ideas on how to deal with an anxiety attack and he prescribed the… perfect medication, which has worked wonderfully. I can't say enough good things about him. I saw Dr. Barza for many months and he was amazing. He listened very well and was not quick to prescribe medicine. My differing opinion or viewpoint about my issues was not quickly shot down by Dr. Barza. Instead, he explained why I may see things one way and kindly asked me to look at it from a multitude of different perspectives.
