Dr. Allan Evan Sosin, MD

We first saw Dr. Sosin with our 42-yr. old son about a year ago. I had learned about him from some of his patients. I had wanted our son to be psych-drug free for a long time and he was - but there was a lot of damage done by years of taking them in a system that delivers them liberally. He was put back on Haldol etc. after going through a hard time. Dr. Sosin was very kind and considerate of our son and his particular situation. He addressed him and not me but when he wanted to speak to me he asked our son's permission. That does not always happen in the mental health system and sometimes in trying to give the patient autonomy the parents are left without being allowed to give their input which is biased for sure, but certainly gives a clearer picture of the family relationship. My husband, our son and I were all treated with respect and a very cordial manner. It is also really encouraging to work with a doctor who does not think that drugs are the end-all-be-all to… health and wellness and who prescribes what I know to work well for us - Nutrients. The nutrients that Dr. Sosin recommended were potent and I saw quite a difference in our son's awareness when he was at home and I was able to administer them daily. It really does "take a village" to get off of any kind of drug. It takes dedication and persistence from those who work with those withdrawing. It is good to have a team and doctors on the team who are knowledgeable and kind - one of the key components to recovery and wellness - being surrounded by love and kindness. I am happy to give Dr. Sosin and his staff a 5-star commendation. M.Gill

Dr Sosin is a rude and nasty doctor. He is not thorough, and in the short time he was my doctor, never looked in my throat or ears. He is a disgrace to the medical profession!!! If you want a doctor that is not thorough and has a lousy beside manner, then go to Dr. Sosin!

Dr. Sosin has a great bedside manner and is very caring of his patients. I am 56 years old and I have been to many doctors in my liftime. I find that Dr. Sosin really cares about my well being.
