Dr. Allan Norman Weissman, MD

Although I think Dr Weissman is a nice man, I know that he is not a good Dr. His lack of interest and mis diagnosis are alarming. His office staff, although nice make repeated mistakes in billing. Anyone looking at this Dr should really take a long hard look and consider another Dr if their health needs are at all important to them.

So I have been going to him for about 3 years now, and I still don't think he knows who I am. I don't HATE him, and he really is a nice guy, but if think I will be looking for a new doctor. The staff is great, I've never had a problem with them. They are always so nice and welcoming. But when I go in to see Weissman, the appointments seem to be VERY short, with little listening to my concerns. And when he does listen he thinks it's nothing. Not only that, but 3 years is a long time to be a patient, so you'd think he'd remember me, but alas, he doesn't remember a single thing about me. He'll ask the same questions he did when he first met me.... One week I ended up seeing him twice for unrelated incidents and he still forgot who I am. I have stayed so long in hopes that maybe it would get better and that I hate vetting new PCP, but it looks like it's time to start. With as many vacations as he takes, I really do think it's time for him to retire...

This is a doctor who is way past his time to retire. Disinterested, Uninterested and lazy. He not only MISSED my diagnosis of cancer, but sent me home telling me I had the flu...and made me wait THREE months for that diagnosis. This was after HE had given me the two flu shots. Thank goodness there are other doctors in the area. LOOK THEM UP.
