Dr. Allen Paul Blasucci, PhD

I went to Dr Blasucci because at the time I was going through a rough patch in my relationship, an addiction problem, and a depression. On the first day of our sessions, he told me I should buy a specific book on addiction, and read it. He offered little help on my problem. In addition, he didn’t pay much attention. He was messing with his phone, iPad, and laptop. Initially I thought he was taking notes on his phone but I later realized he was texting. On at least 2 occasions, he took phone calls mid session, and rather than tell them he was in the middle of something, he told me to give him a few minutes, and he would proceed to take the calls. Also, our so called “45 minute sessions” never went beyond the 25 minute mark. He always would rush things, making it seem like he had other things to do. There was one session that he spent 10 of the 25 minutes complaining about his laptop needing to be taken to geek squad. The shortest session we had was the final one before I got so… infuriated that I decided to end things. The session lasted only 10 minutes before he rushed it to an end, even though I was actively trying to seek advice, and help because that week was especially bad. He kept saying “I think you have things under control”. He was 2 minutes late for that session, and he was on his phone, texting, for 7 of those minutes.
