Arrogant, insulting, rude, sarcastic-Displays little interest in listening to, or understanding patient's concerns. Too busy making fun of you and your questions. When you leave his office you will feel worse than when you walked in.

I agree with the other negative reviews and question who wrote the positive ones. This man doesn’t seem to care as a primary doctor. Busy typing in his computer and shrugging off things you say and judging you. I get the impression that he’s ready to retire and not into it because I don’t know how a dr can behave like him and not care.

I heard great things and was pleased after the first visit with our meeting but not after. I have arthritis and constant pain and wanted a recommendation to a doctor of some kind. After complaining during visits and calling for a rec, and getting no interest or help, I'm going elsewhere. I thought PCPs were supposed to oversee your overall health!

My entire family has been going to Dr. H for many years. We've never had a misdiagnosis and have always received generous care.

Dr. Hauptman is smart and an expert in his feild; however, he doesnt take the time to get to know his patients and most of the time is spent typing on his computer instead of giving the patient direct eye contact. One might wait a long time for him and then he rushes through the appointment

I'm very satisfied with Dr. Hauptman. He's very thorough. I usually have to wait, but it's worth it as he really takes his time with me. I'm never rushed and I feel like I can talk with him about anything.

Dr. Hauptman seems to be running a factory - get patients in and out. He was unable to accurately diagnose me even after numerous blood tests and a borderline snide attitude in his assumption about my ailment.His response to my normal test results was merely refer me to another specialist within his medical group - no conversation or inquiry into my condition - just "passed me along". When I FINALLY was able to speak with him by phone, he only asked "did you get my message about the referral?" I told him that I had read Dr. Junger's book Clean and had followed a new diet which cleared up my painful symptoms within days. He could not have cared less - he practically hung up on me.I paid 1,385.00 dollars out of pocket for Dr. Hauptman - and a simple change of diet did the trick. His total disinterest smacked of apathy and a dangerously narrow mindset.Other websites with reviews will also reflect his patients growing discontent with this man's poor attitude. He should take a long break… and a long look at why he's in the health care business.

I've been a patient of Dr. Hauptman for 30 years. He has always been accurate and thorough. I trust his judgement.
