If you want that your health going to be improved make a visit to Dr. Allen Kantrowitz. I get this design 20 years ago and that is why I still working even 74! I was not able even to move and leave without a painkiller at that time... Do not hesitate, this doctor is the best! He helps you and makes you happy again!

During my several visits to Dr. Kantrowitz, I found him to be detached, not interested enough to offer any suggestions and so difficult to understand I had to ask his very able assistant for "translations." After going for the MRIs that he ordered and not obtaining any solutions to my back issues; I researched my back pain and found it to be Sacroiliac Dysfunction, not often seen in MRIs only in CT Scans, for which I found another Neurosurgeon and resolved the issue.

Dr.Kantrowitz absolutely saved my daughters life..not only did he save her,he operated 3 times,and the same morning had 3similar cases.While being in ICU with my daughter for many weeks,I was astounded to see Dr. Kantrwitz there Saturday and even on a few Sundays,leaving at 8pm..not off playing golf or relaxing on weekends?amazing dedication.I will be forever grateful for having had the fortune to have Dr Kantrowitz as my daughters surgeon.God Bless You.

After two year of suffering with back pain (last year severe pain) and over one year consulting with numerous doctors, I was fortunate enough to meet Dr. Lasner who diagnosed three tumors on my spinal cord, and directed me to Dr Kantrowitz, his colleague and partner, for emergency surgery. Extremely difficult surgeon who makes simple problems overly complicated. Was my third opinion and I cannot imagine how he can even operate safely or prioritize what needs to be done at surgery. Likes to hear himself talk probably.

Having had 3 surgeries ranging from a simple disc surgery to a 10 1/2 hour spinal fusion, there are no words that can express my fondness for Dr. Kantrowitz. There is no one that can ever top his professionalism or his warmth and caring attitude. When he left the Pittfield area, I went home and cried knowing that I would never be able to find anyone who could ever take care of me the way he did and care about me as a person as much either. Anyone who has the pleasure of being one of his patients should consider themselves very fortunate. This man is one of he best in his field, I have literally put my life in his hands 3 times and I would do it again with no reservations whatsoever.
