...while awaiting my first-ever colonoscopy. Dr. Kaufman's office staff (Carmen) was helpful and instructive. The nurses and techs at the Surgery Center of Des Moines were cheerful, friendly and professional. Dr. Kaufman was clearly a seasoned pro, and made the whole procedure a non-event. Had a serene disposition, gave a clear pre-surgery explanation and post-surgery de-brief. Instilled confidence quickly. Great guy. Heartily recommend him. rcjhku

Dr Kaufman and his staff are very friendly and trully compassionate and caring. It was a pleasure to find a doctor who took time to listen to me. I highly recommend Dr Kaufman .

Dr. Kaufman was an excellent listener to me. He spent so much time with me - I really appreciated it. I felt understood. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Kaufman found that I had Chron's Disease and he has been my Gastro Dr. ever since thru both the bad and the good times. He and his staff have been fantastic, always willing to take time to explain things and to put me at ease when I was nervous. We need more Dr.'s like Dr. Kaufman and his staff.
