For over three decades Dr. Allen L. Weiner has provided treatment to the people of Medfield and surrounding communities with the highest degree of competence, cutting-edge technology, and, above all else, personal integrity. Dr. Weiner has always believed that dental care must be coupled with sensitivity and caring.
Dr. Weiner graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1969 where he earned his D.M.D. degree and received the Nesbitt Award for outstanding clinical proficiency. Upon graduation, Dr. Weiner served as a captain in the United States Air Force, assigned to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. He moved back to his home state of Massachusetts in 1971 and opened his first office on North Street (now the site of the Medfield Post Office). To accommodate his growing practice, Dr. Weiner relocated to the Park Street Professional Building. Despite a devastating fire in 1986, Dr. Weiner, undaunted,  continued to care for his patients, working from …an “office” trailer parked alongside the burned remains of the original building. After reconstruction, Dr. Weiner and his staff moved into their current offices, from which they continue to provide excellence, expertise and caring in a family-oriented atmosphere. Dr. Weiner has never forgotten the support, the loyalty, and the outpouring of affection from his patients and friends during those trying times.
Dr. Weiner has authored and published research in scientific journals, as well as articles on advanced, innovative techniques in leading dental magazines. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a past president of the Norfolk County Dental Association, and has served on the clinical faculties of Harvard University School of Dental Medicine and Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Weiner has been listed among America's Top Dentists by the Consumers Research Council of America.
