Dr. Allison Anne Fitzgerald, MD

Dr. Allison Fitzgerald is a very down-to-earth Family Practice Doctor who gave me excellent advice on how to recover from a very painful ankle sprain. Showed me how to properly use a walker, installed the air brace correctly,, was able to fit my foot plus brace in an athletic shoe so that I could really get around without hurting my ankle. She spent a lot more time than was allotted, was very gracious, and seemed to care that I understood all instructions. I can recommend Dr. Allison without reservations.

I, unfortunately, would not recommend Dr. Fitzgerald to anyone. Both appointments I had solely consisted of answering questions that were required for the paperwork. No other doctor has written such extreme conclusions or "possible" diagnoses on the records that are in my file. When looking at the records of the visits, I not only found contradictions, but also false assumptions and judgments about my presentation and behaviors. The first time I visited her felt slightly uncomfortable due to the level of assertiveness that she presented. The second time was horrible, though, in the respect of her lack of professionalism. By 'lack of professionalism', I mean that she literally made false accusations when coming into the room yelling. Yes, yelling. When I corrected her false assumption, she apologized for yelling, but continued to speak loudly and aggressively. This put me in shock; when I tried to communicate with her, she frequently interrupted me and I didn't get to discuss the main… issue. I refuse to see her again. I highly recommend that any of her patients look at the records that she placed in their files.
