A previous review mentioned how shocked they were at all the negative reviews, but I'm honestly shocked at the amount of positive reviews. I almost quit therapy all together because of how horrible of a time I had with her.

Dr Holtkamp is very cold and made my condition worse for a while.

Over almost a year, Dr. Holtkamp really helped me see through my own self defeating patterns and aided me in developing healthier coping mechanisms for my stress and anxiety as well as avoiding unhealthy coping mechanisms. I'm happy to say that Dr. Holtkamp and I really bonded and I was very quickly comfortable being open and honest with her due to her compassion and allowing me to steer our conversations. I was fearful of therapy being a heavy, emotionally draining exercise filled with negative emotions, but with Dr. Holtkamp, I've discovered that therapy can be enlightening, funny, and cathartic even when discussing difficult times and emotions. Anyone would be extremely lucky to have Dr. Holtkamp, she will help you work through whatever you're going through and help you discover things you never knew about yourself in the journey of self-realization and improvement.

I have been seeing Dr Holtkamp for 2 years. She is loving, caring, straightforward, gives practical solutions, and has really helped me. I highly recommend her! Also, she always works with my schedule. I followed her to her new practice even though she doesn’t take my insurance anymore. She has worked with my finances so I could continue to see her. We have a great relationship and I couldn’t imagine seeing anyone else.

Dr. Allison Holtkamp is an incredible therapist. She is super easy to open up to and to communicate with. She really cares about her clients and is very comforting, making it even better. Just a well-rounded therapist to say the least. The progress I have made with her has been very promising. I 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist.
