Dr. Allison Marie Pruett, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Pruett for several years now and have been very happy with her as my Dr. She's always very nice when she comes in the room. Always asks me how I'm doing and asks if I've got any questions for her. She explains what she's doing during her exam and let's me know if everything is ok. She makes sure I have orders for my mammogram and tells me to call in if there's any issues. Dr. Pruett has always made me feel trust and confidence in her as my Dr.

I was scheduled with Dr. Pruett for the first time today. I have had 3 pregnancies, one birth and two consecutive miscarriages. Dr Pruett was in my room no longer than 2 minutes to confirm that a had a miscarriage. I had a lot of questions and she said I could schedule my yearly appt. and said all she needed to know was if I wanted to keep trying or be put on birth control. Her lack of eye contact made me feel like my questions were an inconvenience to her so I stopped. I was so caught off guard that I forgot my wallet and keys in the room.

Terrible bedside manner, poor communication, no eye contact. Worst obgyn at womens care Mansfield.

Dr. Pruett is very professional and very conversational during your visit so you are finished before you know it. She always takes time to answer questions and makes me feel like a person, not a number.

I saw Dr. Pruett for the first time in 2012 for my annual checkup. When she came into the room, she barely made eye contact, told me her name, and proceeded to do my exam. Since this was the first time I had met her, I thought she would ask me some questions about my health history and ask me if I had any questions. She was in and out so fast, I think I was too shocked to ask any. I would not recommend her to anyone and I will not go back to her.

She was arrogant, withheld information, did not explain things at all, left care up to staff members, and when confronted about an issue, blamed everybody but herself. She gave me the wrong medications more than once and when the fertility nurse gave her the wrong information about me, she asked me if I knew if I was even on my period. Yes, I am in my 20's, I am familiar with a period. Somebody rarely answers the phone so trying to get medical advice or schedule an appointment is a nightmare. They discuss patients loudly so there is no privacy and the waiting rooms are crowded.
