Dr. Allyson Victoria Jones, MD

Be very cautious of this “Doctor”. My wife almost lost her life due to internal bleeding and trauma caused by her! Please do your due diligence and research her. She lost a patient, a young lady because she refuses to take accountability for her mistakes. My wife is fortunate enough to still be here but continues to suffer because of Allyson Jones.

Dr. Jones is absolutely fantastic. She is thorough and very caring. She is direct and very clear about her professional findings while being considerate of the patient's choice. She has incredible bedside manner and never makes you feel rushed.

Dr.Jones knows her stuff and provides great education materials, that include printed out materials along with her drawings. She could use a little bit more patience when it comes to patients expressing being uncomfortable or fearful and pain but she still will act compassionately and provide what is needed. She is very throrough and wants what is best for your health outcomes but she does need to slow down a bit

I first went to Dr.Jones for heavy bleeding. I did have a fibroid but she told me that it wasn’t the cause of my bleeding. So she put me on an IUD. She told me I would have irregular bleeding for the life of Mirena, but it should stop the heavy bleeding. Fast forward 6 months, my bleeding got so bad I went to the hospital fearing my blood loss would leave me severely anemic. (It had) After my emergency room visit I followed up with her, and she had no clue I had been at the hospital (even though I was on a follow up hospital visit) or that my fibroid had grown. She said I would need a full hysterectomy including my ovaries. No alternatives, no explanation as to why she was removing my ovaries. She was rushed and annoyed when I asked questions. Her office said they would contact me within 3 days to schedule surgery. Two months later, I still haven’t heard back from Dr. Jones or Women’s Health Florida to schedule my surgery. I could be dead for all they knew. Thank God I have an… amazing primary care doctor that ran all types of bloodwork and actually put me on the correct iron treatment. She referred me to her GYN that gave me options and I now have a surgery date. All this done within one week. If it weren’t for my primary care doctor and my new GYN, I wouldn’t be here to write this review. Steer clear of Women’s Health Florida.

caring and understanding.

This doctor took the time to listen to my complaints. She gave me the reasons for my problems but explained them in a way I could understand. Thank goodness someone still understands that patients want to learn about their issues in a way they can comprehend.

Today I saw another side of Dr. Jones. I am a person who believes a dr should not only be you dr but a friend. Upon my visits with Dr Jones she was wonderful! A Dr that listen and heard what I was saying. But today I took my daughter there and she was more concern about her weight then the fact of her pregency and in the fact that she had lost 11 pounds from the start and only had gained 3 back.May Dr Jone profession should be just Gyn not OB. Especially with the other comments.

Fab doctor and great bedside manner. She spent time listening and really getting to know me and what I needed.
