Dr. Alonzo Richard Burba, MD

He gave a diagnosis when other neurologists could not. I went to him and had the most thorough neuro exam I had ever had. One of the best doctors I’ve ever seen!

I have been a patient of Dr Burbas for the past 8 years. I was very hesitant at first bc his office is located in a house instead of a office but Inhave been pleasantly surprised. I have read alot of the reviews and I will agree at one time his office staff was not meeting the expectations I was hoping for. About 2 years ago he lost his daughter and took about a year off from practicing and to grieve her passing. Upon opening his clinic back up, he now has a very small office staff that are the BEST I have ever dealt with in a Dr office. They are all very friendly, helpful and very compassionate. If I could give this office more than 5 stars I would!!!

Very kind, quick to see Dr., Listened and Diagnosed

I have been ill for ten years and no one could diagnose my illness. This doctor sat down looked me in the eyes and listened to every word I said for thirty minutes. He made a correct diagnosis the first visit and I have been steadily getting better since that first visit. He lost his daughter and took a year off but now is back full time. But during that time it was probably difficult to contact him. He has been elected the best neurologist in the state by other doctors and then in a different poll by the patients. I know why!

This is the best doctor I have ever seen. He diagnosed a rare condition and saved my life. HE IS KIND AND CARING. and listens to his patients. I highly recommend him

The office needs to be more advanced and in the 21st century. Although, the doctor is very knowledgable he seems to have a fear of things that make communication convenient. i.e. Phones with multiple lines, computers for scheduling, escripts ( just faxing), doesn't take debit or credit cards. Not only does this make the jobs of the staff very difficult it makes it very inconvenient and time consuming for the patient. I've had to wait on the phone for over 30 minutes to be told they would call me back. They can never find my appointment times if I misplace my card and they cancel my appointments often. I really like Dr. Burba, but I need someone with a reliable team to help me with my neurological issues. My health is at stake.

This doctors office takes 6 months for an appointment then they will call and cancel that appt and tell you it will be another 6 month wait. That's a whole year before you see the MD for a follow up. They have cancelled and rescheduled every appt I have made. The doc knows his stuff, but if he won't see you then it doesn't matter how good he is. They just now cancelled my urgent appt set up by my oncologist telling me I had Medicare,which I don't, and then said it would be another 3 months before he might see me. Malpractice waiting to happen. Avoid this practitioner.

Most disorganized office I have ever experienced. It took two months to get an appointment. Two weeks before they even bothered to cal regarding MRI schedule. One and half months later for scheduled return visit which when we called to verify time 3 days prior we discovered it was cancelled!

Awesome Dr. Very knowledgeable and excellent communication with patients.

Dr. Burba is very good and takes time with you, HOWEVER, his call back nurse does not listen and relays your messages incorrectly, acts as if you are wasting her time, absolutely bed side manner. AND the receptionist is the worse!!!! I don't even have the words to describe her, just unbeleivable that Dr. Burba keeps such poor staff.
