Dr. Aloysius George Freeman, MD

It's taken me a long time to write this. My kids are almost grown now, but I feel like I need to share. I had two children while under their care, both were delivered by strangers because the Drs were on vacation each time. Patterson is a nice man. Freeman is very condescending, and some of their support staff, at least at that time, were downright rude. I left that office crying on more than one occasion during my second pregnancy. I had a complaint about the nurse who handled my first child's birth and Dr. Freeman's response was to be defensive. I was treated like a nut every time I had a question. Barbara Baltzer…..that woman should not be practicing. To this day I've never had a Dr be ruder to me. I also heard Dr. Freeman making fun of a patient with a staff member, while I was standing there to be signed out. But, the straw that broke the camel's back was when I was having financial problems and changed my insurance to Family Health Plus for a little while. I went to my regularly… scheduled appointment only to have the receptionist loudly say WE DON'T TAKE MEDICARE YOU'LL HAVE TO LEAVE. That was with a full waiting room, very loud, and to someone who'd been there for many years and through two pregnancies. I know my review is quite old, but my hope is they will read this and realize how badly their staff has treated people. I was having a rough time in my life during my second pregnancy and for a short while after, and they did nothing but make it worse.

I regularly saw Dr. Freeman over ten years ago, and I've to this day not located another doctor quite like him. He is a healthcare provider that actually remembers your name and your story, and comes across very caring and compassionate.

Condescending and cold. Absolutely no bedside manner. They did nothing my whole pregnancy but weigh me and take my blood pressure. I could've done that and for much less money. I had either a severe cold or allergies the week before my due date and asked a simple question of if sudafed was safe to take and got an answer of "It's safe, but won't do anything for you. You'll just have to suck it up like everybody else and it'll go away in 2 weeks." Made me feel like an idiot. I am aware that sudafed will not cure the common cold, but it does relieve some of the symptoms so that while you are "sucking it up" for those 2 weeks, it's a slightly more pleasant experience. I am 39 weeks pregnant with no idea how my amiotic fluid levels are, if I'm dialated at all, what the baby's position is, etc. I don't know if it's possible but I am seriously considering transferring my post partum care to another office.

My baby was stillborn after being ignored and neglected by these drs! If that wasnt enough after i delivered we opted for an autopsy and signed for it to be done. At each follow up dr freeman said he would call with the results...i never heard from him ...i had to call the hospital for 3 months for them to tell me it was just NOT done!!!!!! Nobody can tell me whyall they say is there was a post it covering our signatures. These drs are not revommended at all not only do they neglect their patients they try to cover up mistakes.

Felt like I was just an age. Pushed into amnio at 34 and when i declined and gave reasons Dr was very defensive and rude. Some nurses are very nice, some are rude as well.
