Dr. Alpa Dharia Arora, MD

Dr. Arora is the best pediatrician I’ve encountered in my 8 years of parenting. Her bedside manner is incredible- she never brushes off a concern no matter how “silly” it may seem. She is always available to her patients, always willing to talk, and very empathetic and knowledgeable in all situations. This is wonderful and rare for parents to find in their child’s pediatrician. She makes it a point to still ask about my other children no matter which child I have in the office. You can sense her sincerity as well; when she talks to you it’s never with an arrogant or careless tone. Her advice always genuinely comes from a good place as a physician AND a mother and is always given with your child’s best interest in mind. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone highly educated and experienced and also trustworthy for your child!

It's very easy to get an appointment with her, because no other parent wants to take their child to her. My 4 year old daughter was complaining of pain in her genitals. I had further elaborated that her underwear smelled bad, and not like the yeast infection she had just gotten over. Dr. Alpa Arora told me to put baking soda in her bath water. Over the next 10 days, my daughter continued to complain of pain down there, but I was afraid to take her back because of the brush-off, and because her symptoms kept waxing and waning. Ten days later, I ended up in the emergency room with a 4 year old who would not pee. When she finally did, she was screaming in pain. She finally got her urinalysis, which showed a 'raging' UTI (ER doc's description), which luckily had not yet spread to her kidneys. She hadn't drunk as much the night before as she usually did, and so her symptoms got much worse, as the bacteria weren't being flushed from her bladder. Thank you Dr. Arora, for this awful… experience...
