Dr. Alvaro O Mercado, MD

The doctor was very rude saw me for less than 2 minutes just to say go to any ER didn’t even took the time to explain to me why he literally just went out the room saying when you get better come back, Doctors are supposed to give you support if you are not willing to do this you shouldn’t be practicing.

He’s the best hands down. He cares about his patients like family.

I love this Dr. Been with him for a couple years now. I refuse to see anyone else :)

Dr. Mercado is the best. He guided me every step of the way when I was pregnant twice. I was high risk because of my blood disorder. Also, before I had my other two children, I miscarried and had fibroid. That was under the care of another physician, but my point is the other doctor said " deal with the fibroid pain with Tylenol and miscarriages happen all of the time". He did a DNC and sent me home. Yes, I have PPO insurance. Even if I did not have insurance, I am human with feelings. When I found Dr. Mercado, he removed the painful fibroid. Finding him as a doctor was a blessing.

His the best gynecologist. Love the way he treats you, I been with them for more than 10 years.

Dr. Mercado is not good dealing with high risk patients. he does not check for the baby's heart and prefers to transfer your case, instead of helping you. he does not take your word for anything and disregards what you say. plays on his phone and watch and ignores you. he is not friendly very cold and rushes you out from his office when he is running behind. chose someone else if you can.

the doctor examined me, told me nothing attended me in less than 5 minutes (literally) he said everything was fine and told me to come back on Monday.i return on Monday with some spots of blood and he told me why you're here? (he did not remember that I had an appointment) and he told me everything was fine that it was normal, sent me to get some blood test to the hospital because his assistant had to pick up her child from school and told me to get dressed and then he will explain to me. when I finished the dress he was gone, his assistant gave me an appointment for Thursday to get more blood (I was still bleeding and gave me no recommendation or anything) I return on Thursday and the assistant took me out blood and was very desperate because she was there only for me and his son desperately crying out and she did not put my name to the blood tube, on Tuesday I had gone to the hospital because I felt bad and take to the doctor a record of what I had and he wasnt there, the assistant… told me to bring it on Saturday ....... that saturday i was having an spontaneous abortion and stayed in the hospital until Sunday. bad doctor did not explain anything and he didnt give me the necessary attention, btw he didnt showed to my husband the picturo of my baby because he said it was just a circle (which anyways we wanted to see it) i was having an abortion the doctors from the hospital told me to resk before everithing and the dr. mercado doesnt care about it! so sad!

Dr. Mercado delivered both of my babies and I think he is an excellent Doctor.

My experience with Dr. Mercado was awsome dealing with a dificult and grim pregnancy, Dr Mercado was always on point I believe he is very involved in every proceedure not very trusting of any other person to perform any proceedure without him over seeing and making sure his patients are never compromised. His bedside manner while he can be stern he always has your best intrest at heart.
