Dr. Alvin Kenji Nakamura, MD

I’ve seen Dr Nakamura with my daughters pregnancy and I greatly appreciate his bed side manner and giving everyone the time to feel heard. Sometimes this pushes appointments to longer wait times but that doesn’t mean he rushes when it’s your turn. He was also excellent during my daughters delivery and was so gentle caring and listened to what my body was doing to work with it not boss it around. I’ve never had an OBGYN listen and treat me the way he does which has been a struggle with my endometriosis/fertility history.

Dr. Nakamura is the best doctor you could ever ask for. I have been going to him for 23 years and totally trust his care. He held off leaving for his vacation until my daughter was born. He made me feel at ease and we ended up having him do a c-section on me. He explained how it all so I knew exactly what was going on. He never makes you feel rushed and makes sure he answers all your questions. I am so glad he takes care of my ob-gyn needs and concerns.

Dr. Nakamura is an outstanding physician. I have been a gyn patient of his for over 20 years and he is the best. His staff is also excellent. Now there are times when I have had to wait as sometimes he is delivering babies; but babies are by far more important. But even with waiting, I do not mind as Dr. N. is worth it. As he is most competent, kind and exceptional.

An excellent Doctor. Has a busy schedule being a obstetrician and having his life controlled by babies! Well worth any wait while in the office.

I have heard horror stories over the years of doctors that don't listen, make inaccurate diagnoses, and don't seem to care. And every time I hear one of these stories, I thank my lucky, lucky stars that I found Dr. Nakamura when I was pregnant with my first child. His caring, soft-spoken manner puts you at ease, he answers your questions truthfully and carefully, and treats everyone like they're his favorite patient. He has delivered all three of my children, cared for me every year, and just recently completed a hysterectomy for me. I was terrified to have the surgery, but he put me at ease, and rightly so. I am feeling great, and know that I have the world's BEST doctor. Cannot recommend him enough. I feel so blessed to have had Dr. Nakamura look after my reproductive health.

He is a wonderful doctor and has a terific staff. I have been a patient for 12 years and now my daughters go to him as well.
